PreGel is not going to miss the next IBA, the International Baking Fair, that this year is to be held in Düsseldorf from 3rd to 9th October 2009.
The IBA is the most important Fair for all the operators in the sectors of bread-making and confectionery, gastronomy and catering. Held every three years, it alternates its venue between Düsseldorf and Munich in Germany; the latter was, as a matter of fact, the venue for the 2006 show, which concluded with 76,206 visitors in the sector from 144 different countries, besides 979 exhibitors from 49 countries who exhibited the new products in their sector.
The programme of the IBA fair, besides the customary presentation of machines, systems and raw materials for the production of bread and sweets, also includes company visits, interesting seminars and forums; another considerable activity is to be the IBA-Cup, an international competition of skill and professional technique for bread-making and confectionery.
